Route Details

It's the last run before the clocks change (see you next year, headlamps 👋🔦) been a while since we've been out to Silverstream/Whakaehu - the mud will be in peak condition! Starting from the carpark, we'll head along Racemans to the bottom of Steve Amies. This relatively short but grunty track climbs to and along the ridgeline, eventually reaching Rollinsons's Road. We'll then head back down the road to the Tunnel Track entrance and back to where we started. All up, it should be around 12.5 km and around 550 metres of climbing. The forecast is for rain, so come prepared. Bring those headlamps for one last time! It's a fair ways from town, so let us know if the comments if transport is required

Back to one of my favourite Ōtepoti trails - Steve Amies. Great crew as always!
