Over the moon

Chantal's in the lead this week, and she's got a great route planned for the crew Starting from Pineapple Track carpark (Booth Rd), we'll head down Isla St and do a short stint along Leith Valley Rd, before heading into the bush at Nichols Creek. Taking the mountain bike switchback track, we'll zigzag our way up to join onto Moon Track. From Moon Track we'll emerge from the trees, take in some cool rocky outcrops, and come out at Swampy Summit Track. We'll make one last climb up to Flagstaff using the Firebreak Track. After taking in the sights, we'll make our way down Pineapple Track and back to the start. All up, the run should be about 12km, with 600m of vert. As always, for this time of year, headlamps are essential. The weather forecast isn't spectacular, but hopefully any rain will have passed before the start time. Please dress warmly and maybe bring an extra layer. Thanks again Chantal for leading this week and have fun out there!
