Officially open still!

A hardy three souls hit this route just under two months ago. However, with September 1st fast approaching and the route over secret Signal being shut for lambing, etc., we’d better enjoy it while we can. Meeting at Logan Park High School car park, we'll ascend Signal Hill via the 4WD track, Centre Road and the top third of the Big Easy. From the Memorial, we transfer onto tarmac for a short stint along Signal Hill Road, before turning up a side street and starting the Secret Signal route. There is the sharp climb to the top of Signal Hill, before a great transit across pasture, around McGregors Hill and onwards to Cleghorn Street. Descending Cleghorn Street, we turn left at its union with North Road. The long winding downhill run finishes at the Normandy Tavern. We will follow North Road down to the Gardens, before a short stint up through the Gardens and the Northern Cementary back to the car park at Logan Park High School. Keep an eye on the weather forecast, as it can be a little exposed on top. However, the weather appears to be settled for the remainder of the working week. Headlights essential.
