"Or bust" is used to indicate that a supreme effort will be made to achieve the stated goal, with utter failure as the only alternative. Given the state of my back it could be a glorious failure! However, this is a well known route so I'm confident should I turn around the rest of you won't get lost...well there is always hope I suppose?! Meet at Woodhaugh Gardens' George Street entrance for the truly familiar, but equally glorious ascent to Flagstaff via Ross Creek and Pineapple Track. We return via the same route. An estimated distance of 13 (and a bit) km and nearly 700 metres of total ascent. Currently, the weather forecast indicates light winds and little chance of precipitation. Therefore, it'll probably be a once in a lifetime storm with gale force winds and torrential rain. Come prepared as always. We should have a little bit of light to begin with, but headlamps are essential. See you there.
