Rollin' down Rollinsons

Back to a Bivouac favourite this week and a little bit more distance to cover. It can be brutally cold along Swampy Ridge Track, so come prepared with layers, seam-sealed jacket and head lamp. The weather forecast seems to have stabilised for Thursday, so it seems like a reasonable time to tackle this circuit again. However, there could be some snow up there, if we get snow on Tuesday. Meet at the Bull Ring car park and ready yourself for the immediate climb to Flagstaff. Some relief follows, but the ascents and descents flow until we reach Swampy Summit. Moving to higher gears we'll enjoy the chance to stretch out down Rollinsons Road. However, the sting in the tail follows as we ascend up Flagstaff-Whare Flat Road back to the Bull Ring car park. Estimated distance of 14.5km and 670-680 metres of total ascent. See you there!
