The winter fun continues and once again Thursday's weather looks, well, wintry. Meet at the last car park along Ocean Grove, at the eastern end of Smails Beach, for an epic run on track, gravel road and a smattering of sealed road. The views are fantastic, but it'll be dark so take our word for it! We'll run up Karetai Track/Road to Highcliff Rd. From there, we descend Buskin Track, connecting to the Highcliff Track before rejoining Karetai Road and returning to the vehicles. Not much in the way of shelter, so appropriate gear and head lamp once again a necessity. Estimated distance of 11.5-12 km with 500 metres of ascent. Message below if requiring a lift to the start.
