Seeking Mud

The weather gods have answered our prayers for more mud! Looks like Thursday could be a little wet (again). Trail running shoes, warm clothing and a head torch essential once again. Meet at the Pineapple Track car park (see pin) before heading along the forestry road to Davies Track. We'll take this alternative route up to Flagstaff. The top half is still relatively clear of vegetation, although there is a little bit of pushing through the foliage to savour. Once at Flagstaff, we'll use the manicured track back to the top of the Pineapple and from there down to the waiting cars. Short and sweet this week. Probably somewhere in the 7.5-8 km distance and with 500-odd metres of ascent. One further thing to ponder. Are any regulars keen to lead next week's (9th July) run, as we are all away seeking warmer, drier weather?!
