Areas & Points of Interest
We're heading back up Flagstaff this week, but taking the slightly more rugged routes up and down. Indeed, the weather deities have smiled on us, with rain in the early part of the week hopefully ensuring some genuine Biv conditions underfoot. Meeting at the George Street entrance to Woodhaugh Garden, we'll head along with Leith and up through Ross Creek and Redwoods to reach the Davies Track for the trek to the top of the hill. Following a quick circuit around the top, we'll start back down the Pineapple Track, but quickly make a hard left and head down the track to Nicols Creek and Leith Valley. Depending upon the mood we'll either head up Islay Street and back back around the reservoir or straight down the valley back to the start. Either way, it'll be around 13 km and 600ish metres. Head torches are essential and an extra layer or two is advisable. Hope to see you there!
