Trails
Daniel's in the lead this week. His past few Biv routes have been pretty epic and this one sounds a run that shouldn't be missed - exploring some of the new trails around Hereweka on Otago Peninsula. Meeting at the roundabout in Portobello (intersection of Portobello Road, Highcliff Road, and Hereweka Street), we'll head up Hereweka Street and onto the single track towards Hoopers Inlet - branching off towards the Hereweka just before Allans Beach Road. From there we'll call past Coffee Rocks and take on Bacon Track before heading back towards Hereweka and descending back to the start. All up, the run should be around 11.5km with 750m of vert. The weather forecast looks good but remember to bring an extra layer or two, along with the required head torch. If anybody needs a ride from town please post on the discussion page or message the page. Look forward to seeing you there!

View on Strava ↗Great route by Daniel Pettigrew (https://www.strava.com/athletes/39325997). Did I say about the mud, only fell on arse three times 😆. Great fun, awesome crew and beautiful, clear skies on top of Hereweka to see the stars
