Areas & Points of Interest
Timothy has kindly offered to lead this week's run, and the weather forecast (currently) looks perfect for a run in Silverstream! Meeting at the Whakaehu/Silverstream car park (see location) at the intersection of Silverstream Valley and Flagstaff-Whare Flat roads, we’ll retrace our tyre marks a short distance to the bottom of Chalkies track. It’s a good grunt to the top of Powder Hill before we enjoy a glide back down to Silver Stream and then a bit of a loop on Racemans and Tunnel Tracks. Looking at around 11ish km and some 600 metres odd of total elevation. It will be a hands-on-knees pump up Chalkies Hill, so come prepared! Headlamps are essential. See you there….

View on Strava ↗Chilly start but warmed up pretty quickly on the uphill. Stunning views of the stars and a great crew. Cheers Timothy for leading
