Life is a beach?

The tides look good for a short beach excursion once again. Meeting at Doctors Point Beach (see location), we'll once again acquaint ourselves with the marvels of David's Track. On reaching the perimeter fence of the Ecosanctuary, we'll descend McKessor Track to Purakaunui Station Road. Heading out on Osbourne Road, we eventually reach the beach! Traversing Canoe and Doctors Point beaches we may have a chance to dip our toes into the refreshing surf. What better way to finish than a beach run? Weather looks a little indifferent on Thursday with the possibility of some shower activity. An estimated distance of 12.3 km and 350 metres of total ascent. It's a little further out to travel, so give yourselves time. See you there.
