Who are you going to call?

We are going to visit Swampy's other side this Thursday. Not quite sure how we bust a possum, but I've seen former Biv Trail Runner regulars have a go in the past (the possums always seem to win!). The plan is to start by heading up the Fire Break Track. We'll then descend to Ben Rudd Shelter, before taking the Jim Freeman, Possum Busters and Porkies Tracks to emerge onto the Swampy Ridge Track. From here we'll turn back towards the car park. We're not quite done with the ascents, as we head over Flagstaff and down to the cars. The estimated distance is 11 km with approx. 600 metres of ascent. The forecasts seems to suggest a bit of rain throughout Thursday, but clearing towards the evening. It is exposed on the Swampy Ridge Track and over Flagstaff, so pack appropriate clothing.
