Trails
The forecast looks decidedly unseasonal. It looks like another wintery midweek in Dunedin, with snow possibly to sea-level. We just love spring in the south. However, it does look as though Thursday evening the foul weather is finally starting to wither. Come prepared! This week’s outing is short and sweet, starting from Woodhaugh Garden’s George Street entrance (see location). The forecast doesn’t look good, so we’ll stay under cover and use the well known tracks around Ross Creek and its surrounds. The planned route is an estimated distance of just under 10 km and some 400 metres of ascent, which should keep everyone happy. All we need now is some decent weather to return. No doubt that’ll be next week when I’m away! See you there! Unless we’re all snowed in?! Watch for updates…..
