Route Details

Meeting at Frasers Road car park we'll head up the Tilburn Track and onward to the base of Spiers Track. Recently cleared, we'll head straight up to intersect with the track to Flagstaff. We'll take a short detour to Flagstaff summit, before retracing our steps and heading down to the Bull Ring car park. From the Bull Ring we'll head downhill on the Fir Trader Track and Flagstaff-Whare Flat Road. A short stretch on tarmac down Three Mile Hill and Dalziel Roads to the top of Frasers Gully follows. We'll then take the newer of the Frasers Gully Tracks back down to the starting point. The forecast has been a little changeable over the past two days, but looks like the southerly change could bring some light rain. However, be prepared for anything! Estimated distance around 13km and approx. 550 metres of total ascent. Headlamps essential. See you there.
