Stay under cover.

The weather looks to be cooling off (again) on Thursday, so a run with bush coverage seems like a good idea. Meeting at the Silverstream car park (see location) we'll head up Racemans Track to the junction with Little Coal Creek Track. The serious business of a decent climb begins up to the trig at the top of Steve Amies Track. Descending Steve Amies we'll swing down to Macraes Weir before heading back to the cars via Tunnel Track and the swingbridge. Estimated distance of 11.5 km and approximately 500 metres of total ascent. Bring a good jacket and a head lamp. See you there!
