Time to revisit a short, but popular route on the Peninsula. However, we are going to run it in the reverse direction. Starting in Macandrew Bay, we'll enjoy the flat of Portobello Road around to Company Bay. Turning up McTaggart Street we'll ascend up the street and across the farmland to Camp Street. It is a straight out grunt up Camp Street/Track to Larnach Castle. Hitting the tarmac again we'll make good time to the top of Greenacres Track for the descent back to our cars. Estimated distance of a 9 km and some 360 metres of total ascent. There was a hint of light at 6 pm last week, but headlamps still required.
