Godspeed Pete.

Short and sweet this week. Pete is leaving us and heading back to Blighty, so what better excuse for a short excursion and then retiring to a nearby establishment for beer and nibbles. Meet at Logan Park High School. We'll enjoy a flat, tarmac path to the base of the climb to the Plateau (from Ravensbourne). Once at the Plateau, we'll head straight up to the Memorial before taking a simlarly direct route back to the waiting cars (and drinks). Estimated distance of 8.5-9km and about 350m of total ascent. However, let's face it, it rather depends on the watch you're sporting! We'll congregate at the cars before heading off for a drink to farewell Pete. Quite possibly, it's the only party he'll be attending for a while!
