Areas & Points of Interest
Time to return to an old favourite starting from Smaills Beach. Parking at the eastern end of the beach, we'll ascend Karetai Track/Road. A short jaunt along Highcliff Road to Buskin Track. We'll head down Buskin Track to Highcliff Track. Enjoying the expansive views from the track summit (the climb was worth it!) we'll then reconnect with Karetai Track and down to the cars. Approximate distance of 11.7-12 km and 500m of total ascent.
