Silver Peaks Adventure

Time to check out our backyard. Meet at the 2nd DOC sign along Mountain Rd (Possum Hut route sign in cover photo) Long route (27km): Run first 9km on gravel road. Reverse silver peaks route ABC Caves, along Yellow Ridge, to Jubilee Hut and out to cars via 1km of road. Short route (7.5km): Possum Hut route is very steep in places and has one minor creek crossing. Gear: Thermal top layer, waterproof jacket, beanie, emergency blanket, food, water. I'll print off a few Topos, but make sure you know the routes before you arrive!
