Over the moon

Chantal's in the lead this week, and she's got a great route planned for the crew Starting from Nicols Creek carpark (Leith Valley Road), we'll head into the bush and onto the mountain bike switchback track, ziging zaging our way up to join onto Moon Track. From Moon Track we'll emerge from the trees, take in some cool rocky outcrops, and come out at Swampy Saddle Track. It's a quick trot along to the top of Pineapple Track for the descent back to the start via Islay Street and a short climb back to the carpark. All up, the run should be about 12km, with 600m of vert. As always, for this time of year, headlamps are essential. The weather forecast looks good but bring an extra layer as it can be cold up the top. Thanks again Chantal for leading this week and have fun out there!
