Areas & Points of Interest
The shortest day is upon us! Sunset is at one-minute-past-five in the afternoon, so in case you needed reminding headlamps are highly recommended. Meet at Woodhaugh Gardens' George Street entrance for the truly familiar, but equally glorious ascent to Flagstaff via Ross Creek and Pineapple Track. We return via the same route. An estimated distance of 13 (and a bit) km and nearly 700 metres of total ascent. Currently, the weather forecast indicates the ever present noreaster wind and little chance of precipitation. Therefore, it'll probably be a once in a lifetime storm with gale force winds and torrential rain. Come prepared as always. See you there.
