Areas & Points of Interest
Cancelled due to COVID, it is time to revisit Cargill's best side! It's a simple straight up and straight down affair, perhaps with a side excursion over Buttars Peak if weather conditions are okay - looks like a southerly coming through in the afternoon. It can be chilly so come prepared with a windproof and rainproof layer(s). Probably still a need for headlamps, particularly while descending back through the bush to the cars. Estimated distance of 11 km with approx. 740 metres of total ascent. Meet at the end of Hall Road, Sawyers Bay (see location).
