Chantal and Cathy's Excellent Adventure

Join Chantal and Cathy for their takeover event! Starting at the Pineapple Car Park (see location) the run will take in a plethora of Flagstaff and Swampy tracks. The adventure begins up McGouns and then the Pineapple Track to Flagstaff. It's Flags Down to the Bull Ring before switching to a lower gear for the ascent up the Firebreak Track. Turning off the Firebreak Track they'll head down the track to Ben Rudd Shelter and the Jim Freeman Track to the junction with Possum Busters. Then a winding course is followed using Possum Busters, Smithy's and Swine Spur Tracks to Rollinson Road. From there, it is "merely" a matter of ascending Rollinson Road to Swampy Summit. From the summit, Swampy Summit Track is followed to the junction with Moon Track. A gentle descent down Moon and Nichols Tracks and along the road back to the start. I'm reliably informed that a strict "cruisy pace" will be followed and depending on time, willingness and weather the descent down Nichols can be erased and replaced with a descent down the Pineapple Track. Total distance is estimated around 25 km. Guesses on the total ascent on the back of a postcard 😂. Sounds like fun! Wish I could be there!
