An unofficial race on Mt Cargill, open for all levels with the race up and down Mt Cargill at 11:30am on Dec 16th. Cost of entry is currently a beer, which is donated to a communal chilly bin and once finished, runners can pick out any beer of choice from the chilly bin. Post race BBQ using the facilities at Bethunes Gully will occur and there might be a coffee cart too. Cargill Xmas Cracker is occurring simultaneously as local nutters Steve Tripp, Isaac Tripp and Andrew Glennie attempt to run up/down Cargill for 24hours straight https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/thevalleyproject
