Route Details

Meet next to Leishmans Stream, about 4 km down Silverstream Valley Rd at 6pm. There is a big DOC sign with 'Chalkies Track' on it. Route: The track is very steep going to reach the trig on top of Powder Hill. Carry on north, down the hill to the end of Silverstream Valley Rd and back along the gravel road to your cars. Distance is around 6km. Remember headlights and warm layers!
